I’ve put together a few guides and resources for teachers on TeachersPayTeachers, and one of my favorites is the Reading Strategies Guide. This 37 page PDF guide contains over 42 top reading strategies. Each strategy is very detailed and includes what the strategy is, who the strategy is for, step-by-step instructions, notes for teachers, adaptations for the lesson, and guided and cued questions.
This guide is a great companion to use for Guided Reading, Response to Intervention (RTI), struggling readers, teaching reading strategies, and parent handouts!
